A zero waste event ensures at least 90% of waste generated is diverted from landfill. This is the first and most essential step — one that most Indian events have never taken. What Does a Carbon Neutral Event Actually Involve?
Every event emits carbon — through attendee travel, venue energy, generator use, freight, catering supply chains and the materials produced and disposed of. A carbon neutral event is one where all of these emissions are measured, reduced as far as possible, and the remaining balance is fully offset.
Circulogy conducts a structured carbon footprint assessment covering Scope 1 (direct emissions on-site), Scope 2 (purchased electricity), and Scope 3 (supply chain, travel, waste) — giving you a clear picture of your event’s true climate impact.
We then identify practical reduction opportunities, procure verified carbon offset credits aligned with India’s Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS), and issue a carbon neutrality certificate for your event — backed by transparent documentation.
